This is our second round in working with Joe and Melanie and it’s been a pleasure having them help with window shade installations. As a team, they work together to help us choose the best option and take into account all the considering factors. Always friendly, helpful, suggestive and professional. This is my first experience with Stoneside and I honestly don’t think I’ll look at another service in Chicago. Teddy’s demeanor and design choices were incredible, Scott and John were phenomenal to have on site, and everyone at the company has been a delight to work with. The shades look beautiful and work perfectly - all at a lower cost than two of their competing stores. I could not have asked for more!

From the 1st design appointment with Alex to the measuring and installation with Rafiel - everything was awesome. Alex explained absolutely everything and listened to my wants/needs for my selections. And Rafiel was so quick and efficient both for the measurements and the installation. Both men were extremely professional, very helpful and truly nice people.

Had a wonderful experience with Stoneside! Working with Karman Singh was a joy! He was efficient, knowledgeable, and a lot of fun! Highly recommend working with him and Stoneside! A tad expensive but well worth it for the quality.

Amanda was great at helping us choose just the right styles and fabrics. Joe was meticulous in his measuring and his installation. Highly recommended Stoneside for its emphasis on customer service and its excellent products.

I cannot recommend Stoneside enough. Heather was our design consultant for our massive project (20+ windows, some shades, some blinds, and a couple custom curtains). I was overwhelmed as this is the first home my partner and I have owned and she made it so easy and took away so much of the stress and helped me make great design choices. We had Isidro for the final measuring and the installation and he is also magnificent. Not only was he kind and professional, but all our blinds were installed perfectly. He took the time to answer my questions and ensure everything was how I wanted it and made sure I knew how to use everything before he left. We did a ton of research and Stoneside had the best reviews and it is obvious why.

Stoneside Blinds and Shades of Orange County designed and completed a project in our home in a manner that demonstrated the highest degrees of work/product quality and professionalism. Riley performed the design and initial measurements for our custom shades, while Shane performed the confirmatory measurements and installation. They are both knowledgeable and well-trained for these specialty tasks. They were clear communicators, respectful, friendly, and punctual, which allowed for a very pleasant customer experience from start to finish. I highly recommend Stoneside Blinds and Shades for any type of window treatment. The organization exhibits levels of conscientiousness and attention to detail that ensure an excellent result.

Dustin came over to fix a broken motor in one of my shades, he was super helpful and explained everything to me so I would understand what had happened.

My contact with Marti was by phone. In conversation, I learned that Stoneside could not provide what I needed in my price range. Despite the fact that I would not end up as a paying customer, Marti kindly and generously offered numerous suggestions about how I might achieve the look that I want. She patiently answered questions as well. I was very impressed with the service I received.

Love Stoneside. They're super professionals and always over deliver. Jason was my installer and when he saw something did not appear up to their standards, he immediately and proactively took care of everything so that I did not have to lift a finger. Anna guided us through by asking the right questions and we were able to make an informed decision on the type of blinds that would work for our windows. AJ took measurements within ten minutes and Rafael installed the blinds within 15 minutes. He also showed us how they work. I highly recommend Stoneside.

If you're getting window treatments from Stoneside Blinds, ask for Harry. Ask for him by name. I'm incredibly picky about home design and I walked into this consultation fully expecting to over-explain my aesthetic and fight off a pushy sales pitch. Instead I got someone who just got it. Harry came in knowledgeable, on time, and genuinely curious about the space, and by the end I felt like he understood my creative vision better than most interior consultants I've worked with. His product knowledge across blinds, shades, and window coverings was impressive, but what actually won me over was that he never pushed for the sale. He was upfront about how we could approach the project in stages, which is not something you expect from a consultant. That kind of honesty builds trust fast. If you're researching Stoneside Blinds reviews trying to figure out if they're worth it, they are, and the experience is only as good as your consultant. Harry is the reason I'm leaving five stars. Detail-oriented, no pressure, and genuinely one of the nicest people I've had in my home. You're lucky if you get him.

From consult to installation, this was a breeze! Jada was so great in helping me choose the shades/window treatment that would work best for our space. Jerry arrived to do the installation and was quick and efficient. I only wish I had contacted Stoneside sooner!

Joe is fantastic. Clear communication, and very creative in problem solving to a great resolution!!! Also, I want to express gratitude and appreciation for John on install team. He did a great job on complex measuring in a difficult row on narrow French doors and worked thru the various design goals with unorthodox install… he was detail oriented and great! Lastly, Amanda was instantly so impressive I cancelled a bid with another company because it was obvious her design skills and background meant I would be getting the best end result with her leadership on our project. Exceptional follow thru and that rare essential quality for a great designer: she dialed in to my design taste and really understood what our home needed for us! A perfect end result!

Entire experience with Stoneside was excellent. Rep Melanie and installer Joe were easy to work with and communications with both were great. We love our new blind. So even though our order was just one (challenging) blind we felt like it was as important to them as a project with multiple blinds. Thanks!

Tom and Vince are pretty helpful on fixing the stone side blinds in property i bought. It was a pretty old version and they get it to work without replacing the shades!

Worked with Riley for the consult and Shane did the installation. Both of them were FANTASTIC! The turnaround time was much faster than initially stated so that was a huge plus with summer right around the corner. I am amazed at how much his really brightened up my rooms and enhanced the spaces overall. The blackout curtains are essential with the sunlight I get where my house is positioned. I would highly recommend this company and tell you to not worry about looking anywhere else. They made this a very smooth process and really put care into their work. 10/10

We had a wonderful experience with stoneside! After Maria took us through samples to pick out our shades, our technician, Isidro, stopped by to double check the measurements and a few weeks later install our fancy new system!! He was quick, professional, and didn't mind our dog trying to participate in the installation. So far everything works like a dream!

The team is professional and takes a vested interest in your projects. I have used them two times over the past few years and the updates to my home through their creative lens are highly valuable.

We thank Stoneside for their prompt response to our concern about one malfunctioning window shade. They honor their warranty with cheerful pleasure. We've had 17 window shades for a few years and only this one shade needed attention. Dustin, our original installer, arrived early and fixed the problem quickly. These are good people and I'm happy to do business with them and to recommend them to you.

I have lived in my house for 7 years without replacing window treatments in two windows bc I was scared of the process. How silly! STONESIDEBLINDS was 10/10 stars. So so easy. This isn't a paid review. I am real. Antwan the designer was sent over and I was scared he would try to upsell me and he was so wonderful and I wanted him to stay for dinner and help me with the rest of my home. I was so happy with the shades they installed in my addition that I had them come out to do my living room. We had picked a different manufacturer and were unhappy with the quality. Stoneside issued us a credit to choose new shades no questions asked! Was very happy with their customer service.

We contracted with Stoneside Blinds and Shades to design and install shades throughout our home. Their designer Craig was extremely knowledgeable about their extensive product line and options. After a lengthy consult he was able to provide us with a quote on the spot. We had another vendor come out to quote as well, but they did not have all the options of Stoneside. On a follow-up visit James came out and measured all the openings to double-check the job. The installation a few weeks later went very well. I can’t say enough about Amun, the installer. He was given half a day to do a whole day job, but refused to leave until all the work was done. Amun is a consummate professional who took every issue that arose in stride and never lost his cool. He made sure we were completely satisfied with the work. We are! Thank you Stoneside and Amun.

We recently worked with Tommy from Stone Side Blinds, and the experience was honestly exceptional from start to finish. Tommy provided true white-glove service while helping us choose the perfect window coverings for our home. I genuinely had no idea what would work best for our space, especially because I suffer from allergies to dust and dust mites. Initially, I thought curtains would be the right option, but Tommy took the time to honestly explain how much dust curtains tend to collect and guided us toward a cleaner, more practical solution for our needs. What stood out most was that Tommy never tried to upsell us or push the more expensive option. Instead, he truly listened to our concerns, priorities, and lifestyle needs — especially regarding my children’s allergies and the functionality we needed in different areas of the home. We ultimately chose top-down/bottom-up shades, and we could not be happier with the decision. On top of that, Tommy showed incredible patience and professionalism throughout the entire process. One of our children became ill soon after our meeting, and we had to make changes to the contract. Tommy, was patient in making changes while we were in and out of the doctors offices. He was thorough, clear, understanding and at no point did we ever feel rushed, ignored, or pressured. What I appreciated most was how genuine and sincere he was. There were no gimmicks, no pushy sales tactics, and no pretending to be someone he wasn’t. He was simply humble, knowledgeable, honest, and focused on helping us make the best decision for our home. Tommy is honestly one of the best examples of how residential sales and customer service should be done. Because of him, I would absolutely use Stone Side Blinds again. So far, I give Stone Side an A+. Once we have final measurements and install I will update again!

From start to finish the process was seamless with ultra professional treatment. Melanie was great and John was fantastic I appreciate the consistency across the board. I found them in an AI search what caused me to call them wasn’t cost savings but the report spoke to quality both in service and the product quality- they were at the top of my search. I installed a total of 14 blinds for West facing windows that get a lot of heat from late afternoon sun and talked to 3 vendors. Alex, our Stoneside designer was meticulous and implemented exactly what I wanted (motorized solar and black out shades) . Amazing service, products, as well as installation. I am absolutely in love with the whole home motorized Roller shades that we have put into our unit. The process from estimation and design to installation was very easy and flawless. We recently had an issue with accessing a charging port and Stoneside promptly schedule an appointment for a service technician to come out. Everyone that I have dealt with with a company has been friendly, positive and unbelievably helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend this company in their products to anybody else. I have had my blinds for at least four years. I love the blinds, and Stoneside has always been responsive. I just had an issue with the charging aspect, and Jerry fixed the issue and adjusted all the other blinds so that this issue would not happen again. So happy with the experience and products. Recommendation: get the voice-activated blinds. So nice!

Don came today to install my honeycomb shades (not sure the exact name). He did a superb job, came on time, was professional, careful and precise. Made sure the blind/shades were leveled and worked perfect. He didn't mind my old tabby staying around, more important my cat welcomed his petting! He answered my questions and even showed me, if needed in the future, how to take off the blinds. I am more than satisfied with the quality of Stoneside customer service.

James was an absolute pleasure to work with. He confirmed our appointment the day before and day of, and we had a great conversation prior to touring the house for our window treatment needs. I knew from the beginning that James was someone I could trust. I know he has the aesthetic vision and all of the technical know-how to do an exceptional job leading this process. I really appreciate his approach, where he curates three potential fabrics/colors etc for each treatment. Otherwise it is too overwhelming! Once I was ready to move forward (and James didn’t pressure me at all!), he was ready and attentive with the required forms. He even presented multiple, more cost effective options than what we originally planned. I look forward to continuing to work with James and Stoneside. Also, despite a superior experience, Stoneside pricing was surprisingly similar to other quotes I received.

My partner and I worked with Stoneside for a recent project installing shades for some rather large, oddly configured windows, and it was an excellent experience. Amanda, our design consultant, took the time to come visit our space to help thoroughly plan out the project, and talked us through the different options, plusses and minuses of each, cost, schedule, etc. She was incredibly responsive when we had questions after the planning process, and graciously helped us schedule the installation around some other work we were having done on the windows. John took the measurements and did the installation, and Joe came by about a month later to swap a couple of the fixtures around to help block a light leak that we noticed after the installation (which was no fault of Stoneside's, we'd decided on the orientation and only noticed the placement of the gap after installation). Both John and Joe had clever solves for some of the trickier aspects of our space, and were very patient with all of our questions about the functions and placement of the shades. Stoneside provided a truly custom, thoughtful shade solution for us, and at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend them for your window treatment needs!

My experience with Stoneside exceeded all of my expectations from beginning to end. Amanda did an amazing job during our consultation when she helped me choose the shades that would be best for my bedroom. Amanda was enthusiastic, professional, and clearly explained all of my options to me. Joe, who took the measurements and did the installation, was thorough, fast, and arrived early both times (after politely checking in with me to see if it would be okay). He showed me how to use my new blackout shades, how to charge them, and how to access the various functions on the remote. Both Amanda and Joe were outstanding, my shades are beautiful, and I couldn't be happier!

Rafiel came out to replace the motor in our broken shade and did an amazing job! Arrived early, replaced the motor quickly, and then fine-tuned not only the shade he fixed but the rest of our Stoneside Shades as well. 10 out of 10!

Efrain Diaz was the installer for our new blinds from Stoneside Blinds and Shades Chicago today. He did an excellent job, and the final result looks perfect. We had a great experience with Stoneside! We have a 1920’s home in NE Portland. Old windows can be tricky to accommodate with modern blinds. Stephanie LeFur is very knowledgeable and knows the ins and outs of the product line. I love how they have an installer come out to remeasure before the blinds are installed. Our installer, John, had a good solution for us on some other windows we were considering purchasing blinds for.

Overall, I had a great experience throughout the consultation process. Tommy and Marty were my consultants. They communicated throughout the process, showed up on time. Unfortunately, the budget we set didn't allow us to move forward. The lady who scheduled the appointment is also customer friendly. Highly recommend. I went with Stoneside after reading their stellar reviews. And they were right on point! From start to finish, their customer service was magnificent - responsive, thorough, prompt, efficient, and courteous. Because of their attention to detail, clear lines of communication, and own line of blinds we were able to select a unique product that meets our needs for partial light AND blackout all in ONE blind! The vast number of color options they have enabled us to color match our existing blinds, which are no longer available. This company is fabulously well run and their personnel reflect their values. I am the type of person who has a lot of questions in the decision-making process. Ren did a superb job listening to our needs and helping us make design-considered choices. Francisco did an amazing job with exacting installation and instructions. As a result, we are very very happy with our new blinds! I could not recommend Stoneside more highly.

Our new blinds are amazing and the experience was so easy with Ian and Isidro. The result is exactly what we imagined and they were so professional! Also - the blinds themselves are incredible! When closed they block out basically all light, and they are very easy to open/close.
